couple questions about i5 4670k delid and overclock

ill get right to the point.

i am in a mini itx case a coolermaster elite 120 somehow i fit a h60 in this thing but it doesnt have much room to breathe
ive managed to get 4.3ghz @ 1.2v and after 10 runs of IBT very high my temps max out at 93* which is obviously as high as i can go, this was with my ram at 1600, i ran prime 95 for about 45 minutes after i set my ram to 2400 and it was stable though that as well...good enough for me

i have delid'd and put CLU on the die and Geil GC-extreme on the IHS

my uncore is set at 34 everything else is pretty much on auto, my motherboard is a MSI z87I, does anyone have any tips on how i can squeez a little more out of this chip? i wanted to re-do the clu i think i used a little too muchh, what would be the best way to clean the die so i could re-apply?

thanks!

Well, your best bet would be to find an absolute peak frequency of your CPU to the point where it starts throttling and overwhelming your cooling system and then starting to lower your core voltage gradually by at least 0.005V per reboot. When you'll find the absolute lowest voltage your CPU can run with, leave it like it. That should lower your temps and overall power consumption of your CPU, resulting in a more stable build.

Also, for cleaning your CPU of thermal compound, I recommend Isoprophyl Alcohol (also known as Rubbing Alcohol). If it won't come off, you carefully could try scraping it off with your nail. Make sure not to damage the VRM components near the CPU itself.

Also, If you feel that you've undervolted your CPU enough, you can start adding more multipliers and adding voltage again. Do not overshoot, though. A raise of 200-400 MHz is the absolute limit. Make sure you do a very small gradual increase in voltage, like 0.010V each time you raise it by, let's say, 100MHz. That should give you a small overall boost.
