The reviews I have seen at Anandtech and others say its a good Screen but not outstanding. Price is very good so that makes it great value for money.

One thing, it uses a Samsung (Korean) panel. Their arent many makes of PLS panels and I think Samsung is also relatively new to it. Up to now LG (also Korean) has been the biggest player in that space.

Good monitor, great price. The PLS panels really do look great, I say you should go for it!

Sure, buy it if you like paying $200-300 more for a monitor only capable of 60Hz.

Not to mention the fact that you could get a 30" 2560x1600 monitor for less than that price.

Seems like an awesome monitor but I'd never spend $500 on one.

My first sentence was in reference to the Qnix QX2710 and X-Star DP2710 ($280-315).

My second sentence was in reference to the Crossover 30Q5 (~$550).

Where? Ebay.
