how does the payment work in star citizen work? i use visa gift cards and steam takes on initial purchase 1 eur, and since the card cannot be recharged i am not sure if its returned afterwards. so my question is if star citizen charges only the ammount i purchase or also the 1 eur/usd extra? and are here some reputable members who could help me get LTI on a constellation once i purchased it?

PS: i red already that you can order smaller packages and after 24hours you can replace them with store credit, so i plan to buy 2 digital colonels for 100eur +1 digital scout based on my gift card value, and then turn them into a rear admiral with connie for 220eur

and can you fly connstelation on your own without a crew ai or not ai?

You can use Amazon Payments, makes it easy.

You have real players man the positions or hire a AI crew. AI crewmen will come at varying price points for proficiency, but even the best AI will only be about an average player.

Thrusters being stronger only means the ship itself will turn on it's axis quicker, not change direction quicker (eg: you're heading to the moon and want to change direction to mars, you turn the ship with RCS thrusters and once aligned hit the thruster engines to change your current direction)... That and I have a fleeting suspicion that each tier thruster will have a 50% gain on the previous one. Looking at twelve to eight and that should give it about the same amount of thrust to change it's angle on it's axis (again not changing directions).

Am I completely wrong or missing something from my physics courses here??

Pretty much on point aside from the changing direction. If the thrust increase ratio is higher than the mass increase ratio, it'll be able to change direction faster. The reasoning would be that it would take less burn time than a ship with a lower thrust to mass ratio.

Touche, forgot about TWR. Always thought in delta v m/s.

Time will tell what the main thrusters will push in terms of TWR's (TR3 vs TR4).
