Corsair has used 4 OEM´s over the years

OCZ has used 6

Cooler Master has used more then i can count

and so on and so forth almost every brand is the same

FSP / Enermax / Seasonic / Super Flower / Delta / InWin and HighPower make and sell under their own names

fixed, my point still stands though, it's not as simple as you think. seasonic (or whoever) doesn't just make thousands of PSUs and just slap the brand names of whoever orders from them.

It works in two ways

The first one is brand X buy a finished platform from OEM Y that they may or may not end up modifying but still sell under brand X name after they have put the inside parts into their own metal box

(The Seasonic KM3 and the Super Flower Golden Green is such platforms)

Or brand X asks OEM Y for a custom platform talior made just for them (like the Be Quiet Dark Power Pro P10 or the NZXT HALE 90 V2)

Thats how its works

Or OEM Y sells under their own name which maybe will be Y or name Z which in some cases does happen

Take InWin they call themselfs InWin on the sales side but PowerMan on the OEM side

They are all actually based on pre-existing platforms that are modified, so it applies to the first point you had made.

BQ DPP10 550-750w = FSP Xilenser
850w = Seasonic SS-860XP (first gen - not second gen KM3)
1000-1200w = Seasonic X-1050/1250

Differences are the implementation of a circuitry that allows you to switch between single/multi-rail mode, hard-wired 24-pin connector, a fan controller that allows it to automatically adjust the speed of case fans, high-quality Silent Wing 2 FDB fan (made by Protechnic), and extra modular cables for various of configuration.

The NZXT HALE 90 V2 was built from the ground up was it not?

Unless you know something that the rest of us don't then I'm going to believe what I read.

We can separate power supply companies into three groups: the ones that design and manufacture their own products (the minority), the ones that design their own products but hire another company to manufacture the products for them, and the ones that use OEM products, i.e., another company designs and manufactures their products, but adding the label, box and manual from the contracting company. Almost all well-known manufacturers that aren't originally from the power supply business fall in this last category.
