Recording and streaming, i5 4670k or i7 4770k w/ 780?

I'm pretty new to PC and after committing to the transition from console, I'm confused as to what I should do. Recording/streaming on console was pretty easy with an elgato and a laptop, so having it all in one place with so many more options is confusing to say the least. I'm looking to record and stream again, but I'm not sure on what processor to get or what program to use. I've currently got a i5 in my list, but I'm not sure if it's capable of handling what I want to do. So I've come here to figure everything out.

Recording the gameplay will be limited more by what drive you are writing the data to than how many threads the CPU has. Having a 10,000-15,000RPM HDD or an SSD as your recording drive will help you more than anything. As for streaming, I would go for more threads with the i7 since you will be playing while also using the AVX to stream. The streaming while gaming will put a fair bit of strain on your CPU and benefit from the extra threads that the Hyper-Threading on the i7-4770K.
