That makes it one of the top three cards and the best Nvidea card. (closely followed by the 980Ti which can push about 4.8-5.2 million a day)

But you have to run it under open CL, they won't do anywhere near those numbers under cuda.

the top card is still the 7990, (dual tahitis) but it will soon be overtaken I suspect by the next round of GPU's.

On the AMD side the Fiji's are the top single GPU card running similar to the 1080's and 980Ti's

Configuration is simple and straightforward.....

Is there a way to see how many PPD I'm getting?

It'd be easier to test and figure out the right settings that way, some guy on the thread for optimizing collatz in OP said his 1070 was getting 5 million a day with these settings, but I'm unsure if I need to raise any numbers since the GPU is faster than a 1070.

I seem to be getting around ~47 seconds per WU at 2088 mhz.

verbose=1
kernels_per_reduction=48
threads=8
lut_size=17
sleep=1
reduce_cpu=0
sieve_size=28

Either manually calculate or check stats after each day. Collatz doesn't give the same point values per WU.

Is this you?

Lays?

Looks to me that your averaging 47 seconds a WU with that overclocking. I would say it's right up there in the fastest group....

Not bad.....

Shame your not crunchin for us....

If I remember right when I started BOINC last night before I went to bed I had around 19 million credit, now I have 22,310,001 after about 9.5-10 hours. So roughly 3 million in 10 hours, 7.2 million a day? Not sure how accurate that is though.

LTT is my main forum otherwise I'd BOINC for ya guys frown.gif

I'm mainly just trying to get all the little badges we get on from 1million/25/100 million points over there.

EDIT: Wait is this "recent average credit" thing how much I got in the last 24 hours or something? It says 2,416,370 so if we go off that # then it's 5.8m PPD

I was looking for ya here as well.

RAC is an average of like 4 weeks so any change isn't fully reflected in RAC # for a long time.

RAC is not the same as PPD. RAC has a built in decay factor, which is greater than X points divided by X days that is PPD. The most accurate way to calculate max PPD, if you are running a project for an extended period of time, is to extrapolate your points out from the individual run times. That will give you an idea of the maximum points you can get if you are only running a single project, and the project's servers don't have any issues.

Ok if I go by that, it's about 46.5-47.1 seconds per run, so let's call it a 47 second per WU, then if I do 60/47 that's 1.276, then I seem to be getting anywhere from 3700 to 4150 points per WU, so let's average that at like 3850, so 1.276*3850 = 4,914 points per minute, then 1440 minutes in a day 1440*4914 = 7,077,446 points every 24 hours, if no server downtime / any issues on my PC?

Not sure if I did that right lol

Yup looks right. Seems like a wide range of points per WU. The points received will have changed when you optimized with the config file.
