Bezel-(less)? monitors for eyefinity

Thread Starter
So i am having some trouble finding a 21.5 inch monitor for eyefinity with a VESA mount (important) that has a really small bezel. I found one on ebuyer, although it notes that it has VESA, looking at the pictures it does not.http://www.ebuyer.com/455966-22ea63v-21-5-ips-led-1920x1080-vga-dvi-hdmi-22ea63v-p-aek

Cheers for the help! smile.gifthumb.gif

Fyi, the marketing pictures for this monitor are quite deceitful.

The bezels aren't as small as they looked in the images with photoshopped images on their screens.

I see, the bezel with is stated as 2mm, and I honestly would love that for an eyefinity display. The only problem with that monitor is the VESA mount is not present (in the picture anyway) should I contact buyer to ask if it has the mount or is the picture the actual product?

As Remmib said you need to be careful when shopping on any website even newegg. There are several monitors from dell, Asus and other manufacturers that are photoshopped to make the monitor seem almost bezel-less. My advice is make a list of monitors that fit your needs and do research on each, can be time consuming but worth it since you could be spending quite a bit of money

We had a big debate about this on the Aria Forums.

While the manufacturer quotes a 2mm bezel, this is only for the actual physical bezel. However, the screen doesn't come right the way up to this and so you get a big black border around your screen. The actual gap between the screens will be the same as normal, they are just made to look like they have smaller bezels, they don't.

Aww... thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif I was pretty hyped to see a bezel-(less) monitor, for a very relatively cheap price

Out of curiosity, has anybody tried out the Viewsonic VX2270Smh-LED? They advertise the thin bezel, and they're IPS displays.
