BSOD when installing graphics card driver - ntoskrnl.exe - .dmp files w/ driver verifier enabled

Thread Starter
Finishing up my new build and I get BSOD when trying to install the graphics card driver from the dvd. I can see the problem comes from ntoskrnl.exe when using bluescreenview. I ran memtest86+ and got 0 errors. I did get other BSOD on other occasions while setting up software on this build. They all had to do with the corsair link software so i uninstalled it for now.

Here is the dump file : 080113-4562-01.zip 21k .zip file

I am running windows 8, a i5-4670k, z87-g45 mobo, evga gtx 780 gpu, corsair vengeance 16gb ram.

I greatly appreciate any help and will provide any further information needed to solve this problem.

Thanks

Hi,

The attached DMP file is of the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) bugcheck but isn't successfully flagging a culprit device driver.

If we take a look at the call stack:
Code:

trying to install the graphics card driver from the dvd

Date seems pretty new for a disc install of video card drivers. Regardless, uninstall the current ones, restart, and rather than trying a disc install, try the latest from nVidia's website.

Regards,

Patrick
