Could it have been caused by the "smoothing" algorithm in the DeathAdder 2013 or the angle snapping in the MX518?

The DeathAdder 2013 "smoothing" cannot be disabled according to a P.M. of mine.

What is that 'smoothing' bro? I notice the sensor of DA2k13 feels really smooth (I thought maybe because of high sensor fps) compared to other mice in my disposal, but does that mean any input lag or any hindrance at all?

The "smoothing" algorithm reportedly is independent of U.S.B. polling, but it is used to reduce jitter/ripple, so it might be perceived as delay.
