Need advice on my hard drives

So I currently have an SSD and a HDD. Recently my computer has been freezing for a second and then I believe my HDD vibrates and it finally loads?

I'm guessing this is a hard drive problem and would like to simply erase my hard drives and start fresh, what is the best way to go about this?

Windows 7 is installed on the SSD.

Any help is appreciated.

Check the power options in control panel and see if the hard drive is set to shut off after a certain period of time, change it to zero to disable it.

That was most likely the issue because my power options were set to power saving mode tongue.gif

If I still want to wipe my drives, what do you recommend?
