7870 vs 760

Thread Starter
My brother is replacing his Gigabyte GTX 760 OC card and was offering it to me for free. I have a Gigabyte 7870 oc'd to 1200/1450 on 1.219v (stock voltage) and my 3dmark11 graphics score with that is 8580. If I overclocked the 760 would it overtake my overclocked 7870 in performance? I want to know if I should take him up on the offer.

760 trade blows with 7950. Sell your 7870.

I agree with the 760. I would be interested in your 7870 if you want to sell.

I'd take him up on it regardless...!!!!
Then work out the performance gains. LOL

That way you'll have both cards to play with...

take the GTX 760 without a doubt. GTX 760 is 20 - 25% faster than HD 7870.
