Hi everyone, i just loaded up BF3 and then suddenly this happened:

I have a GTX 570 and am running 314.22 WHQL.

i've heard of the 320 horrors and that's why i didn't upgrade. hope my problem isnt that serious.

Just ran FurMark and Valley and there isn't visible artifact there.

its mostly a BF3 issue. I had it happen with 314.22 320.18, but not with the 326.01. http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-preview-64bit-326.01-whql-driver.html. I am still running the beta version actually. I know there is a newer 326 series out as well.

Just make sure you manually remove all traces of NVidia files and folders before you install the new one. The clean install feature can work but some have found that it does not always.

Yep, it's a driver bug that was supposedly fixed in 320.49. Try the latest BETAs, they should help. Your card is fine physically though.

Thanks guys, il try the beta 326.41 and see if it helps

BTW just played another round of BF3 with 314 and no artifact anymore.

EDIT: STILL GETTING ARTIFACTS EVERYWHERE; EVEN IN CHROME. although not a major artifact, but when scrolling it would all box up for a split second!!!! BF3 still has black lines occasionally.

Well I had this bug constantly, so was using the 310.90 driver for a while, playing in windowed mode also seems to avoid this problem, yesterday I updated to the new Beta drivers and it seems to have fix my problems, no more artifacts.
