Overcloking 3570k/ivy bridge

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

Im new to this forum and recently I have had a bit of a problem with my pc and had to take it apart. However when I put it back together it came up with "Bios reset" on the screen. and I lost all the settings that had been adjusted by one of my more knowledgeable friends. If at all possible could you please help me overclock my cpu through my bios.

My setup at the moment is:

Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4Ghz
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
2x Sapphire Radeon HD7950 Vapor-X OC Dual-DVI HDMI DisplayPort 3GB
Kingston HyperX DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 XMP 2x4GB
And a Corsair Hydro H100

I would like to get as much as I possibly can out of the cpu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jellow, sucks how your overclocking settings were lost. You can find a guide on overclock3d here:

And a video here:

NOTE: Don't ever set VCore or anything on auto if possible, as this will impact temps and CPU life span.
