They prefer good power supplies, minimum 480W.

But the last bit he said is true (about the memory) - DFI recommended 3 brands to me; Mushkin, G.Skill and OCZ

I'm putting the X800GTO in my myth PVR , and I the one I have is not CF compatable, dont have a MC anyway tho... as for the choices, I'm going to get an Opty as well, and suffle stuff around if i can find a MC i'll get the RDX200CF-DR, for the orphaned 4000+

edit: acctually i wonder if the gecube X800GTO card will workj with my x800GTO, any clues on that ?

If you get a X800GTO card I think you can match them with different manufacturers, don't quote me on that though

Sorry, they dont want an OCZ PSU, but DFI people (DFI-Street) prefer OCZ as the most
prefered psu for their NF4 mobos for a reason! Of course there are many others that are also highly recommended.

Ok Now now Time for me to stick my foot in.

The DFI CFX3200 Motherboard as shown in my Specs is also a great motherboard with great potential...The only difference is that its crossfire.

And then the RDX200CF-DR is like the cheaper version of it.

However:

The RDX200 is not as good as the CFX3200 performance wise. The ULI problem isnt much of a problem Until you hit RAID.

well, I'm unlikely to use raid, and i was shooting for a decent gamin' rig for the number of peanuts i make
I'm taking a good look at both the SLI and Crossfire boards, as for the RDX200CF-DR, all ready ordered ( now to find a nice X800XT master/slave pair ), but as to my choice, its gonna be hard. THG's VGA benchmarks paint nice figures for both setups, so its down to cost :/ (MotherBoard + 2 x X1900GT's or 2 x 7600GT's )
