Yea I actually took it apart and cut the paper clip so it is flush with the top of the ball. It's much quieter now. Here are some well deserved pics guys!

That does suck indeed, I may have to get a different res/pump, I was counting on the pressure as I am using a MO-RA3.

Yea I don't know why they designed it like that. It worked out well for me though. As you see I dedicate one pump for the CPU loop and then I attached my VPP655 with EK Pump top above the reservoir so I can rock out a series setup with the second pump on the reservoir for my GPU loop. Think it looks hella sexy like that!

Yea I'm loving it! That third pump is working great! Been running 24/7 since I set severything up. No black pieces since I cut the paper clip flush with the top of the ceramic ball!!

Awesome man, glad it's working out for you. One of my 655s died recently...manufacture date was in 2006 though LOL!

Best pumps hands down IMO if you have the room - extremely long life, tons of head pressure for long/restrictive loops, and relatively quiet thumb.gif.

Ok RavageTheEarth, I think i will follow you and get a third pump to add to my loop, so 2 can run in series for the GPU's and then I will add another rad for the cpu loop.

Will be starting it soon, I broke a tiny flex cable repairing the LCD on my camera - so now its toast cause I cant't do a solder that fine - so will start a log when I can take pics again.
