Networking Equipment Shelving ideas

Thread Starter
I have a relatively complex home network setup and right now I have all the devices spread out. The cabling isn't too pretty but I can't stack them without worrying about overheating.
Are there any compact shelves you guys have used that open in front and back to stack devices? I was thinking something like the image below but I'm not sure how that would mess with wifi signals and I'd have to cut out the back for cables.

These are the devices I would like to have on the shelves:

Modem
2 Wifi Routers
2 8-port switches
Firewall/Router (10" x 7" x 1")

Would be nice to have room for:

ATT Microcell
Synology 4-bay NAS
Battery backup

If they would work I would get them and cut the backs out. Then if you need yo move them there all together. Just out of curiosity what are you needing to put on these

I just updated the first post.

I'm afraid those would be a bit too flimsy for the devices and that they might mess with the wifi signals. Something in between those and a bookshelf would probably be just about right.

The only thing I could think off is make a wooden box with shelves and put the wifi router on the top shelf.

And rise from the dead, I found bakers cooling racks to be cheap and very useful for setting network equipment even up to rack mount servers on, additional cooling can be added by zip tying fans to the bottoms of the racks.
