Faulty CPU?

Just finished a FX 6300 a week ago, which after two days of problem free use, the person i built it for called me and told me the display, mouse, and keyboard stopped working but the computer was still on. So i thought it was the Mobo and ordered a new one. I also brought my 8Gb of mushkin Blackline back from my sig rig, and took my 700W OCZ PSU from my backup rig, I have also tested with his GPU, my 8800gt, as well as my 4890. I have yet to get it to post. Error code on the ASrock was 00 and i don't have a speaker on the UD3 but am about to borrow one to see what error codes i get.

FX 6300
ASrock 970 Extreme4 and Gigabyte UD3 990FX
GSkill Sniper Series DDR3 1866 and Mushkin Blackline DDR3 2000
Corsair CX 600 and OCZ GamerXtream 700W
Gigabyte 760 WF OC, 8800gt, 4890,

I was wondering if i had a short, but i'm out of the case and have it setup on the motherboard boxes. headscratch.gif

Well retried the gigabyte with one stick of ram instead of two and it has posted. So going we'll see. Might have been a ram issue after all.

Update

Scratch that boots with both sticks...this is bizarre makes me wonder *** is going on. The only difference is this time i've taken it off the OCZ extreme and put the cx600 back on it on a bench. This i all on the UD3, the NB is hot to the touch which has me worried because i had read about the NB on this board overheating.
