My name is Sam (a.k.a. Warsam71), AMD's newest Community Manager helping with everything enthusiast: Gaming, APUs, GPUs, CPUs, events and much more…
About me:
I've been in the gaming industry for more than a decade, where I have worked on numerous titles including Tomb Raider, Hitman Contracts, Just Cause, 25 To Life, Age of Conan, Alice Madness Returns and Rift to name a few (phew), and currently playing in the open beta of World of Warplanes by Wargaming.net. My first console was the Atari 2600, followed by the Commodore 32 and 64, Intellivision, all the PlayStations and X-Boxes…you get the idea.
On the PC front - I started with an 80286 processor based PC where I played a golf game on a monochrome screen, and got my first taste of the "pre-internet era" via BBSes, remember? From there I went through every processor type and played hundreds of FPS and Action Games (i.e. from Wolfenstein 3D to every COD).
I'm gonna be the guy behind "^ST" on the @AMDGaming Twitter handle, and you can also follow me @Samshaw71.
I'm here to help you in any way I can guys. So, feel free to message me with any thoughts, comments, issues and ideas you may have. I will be reading threads, participating and asking you lots of questions!
Welcome! My 1st rig I bought for myself was some AMD 500MHz cpu. lol My 1st computer experience was tandy 1000 or 5000 can't remember. sometimes did my 4th grade homework on it. My old man was a computer geek too. Now he always call me for help. And to think he has made millions on computers, from selling some cd that helped your search results to being a spammer, now he does something on craigslist.
Welcome Sam,we need another rep after the last one left.
I apologise now for some of the comments that will no doubt get thrown your way, these people are not representative of most users here.

welcome Sam you joined at exactly the right time with AMD's momentum shifting we expect great things I personally hope that TSMC gets their fabs on Intel's level so you guys can make a comeback on the cpu front in a few years. (maybe not necessary if mutli-core scaling picks up due to console wins)

Seems you're here regarding feedback as Community Manager I will leave two things for you to take up with your team.
1: Can you start looking to support ENB Series at driver level. This is a popular modification used in many games and Nvidia quite clearly have the jump on you here as they will make changes to drivers to resolve some issues.
2: Rage white banding issues need to be addressed for 7000 series GPU.
Welcome to OCN Sam, pleasure to have you here. Now all you have to worry about is watching your 6 in WoWP
