I wanted to get my system completely set before i start playing with over clocking. I did mess around with Gigabytes O/C software that it came with, it's not bad and i was able to crank my GPU up a little. I've since kept it at stock till i can get my liquid setup running though.

As far as any advantage with the dedicated physics, no not really lol it's purely over kill and bragging rights. I'm sure it helps take some of the stress off my 770 but i seriously doubt i'm getting any more FPS out of it. And i'd put money on the fact that no one would be able to see any difference as well, at least not with the games I play. I really don't play to many FPS games that would hammer my card, although i'm seriously looking at buying the new Assassin's Creed 4 that just came out. That game looks sick...

I haven't de-lidded my 4770k and don't plan on it. I like my warranty (as well as the cpu) in tact lol maybe in another few years when i get another CPU i might go with some extreme mods like that.

I used a 401k loan to buy my current setup, so as for getting anything new or replacing anything it'll have to wait for tax refund and work bonus time lol

Nice, I'd like to see your project when it's done, have you tested the games you play with out the 560ti as a dedicated physx card? Some cards can slow down, or bottleneck, your set-up and actually give you less fps. It might be better if you let the 770 handle everything on its own. Alot of people recommend the 650ti or greater for physx purposes if using a 770.

Also Assassin's Creed is amazing im loving it. I got that game for free when I bought my 770 as well as batman arkham origins (also amazing) and splinter cell blacklist (also amazing) lol. 3 very very great games! I have to say, I built my pc the right time!

here's a badly done sketchup version of what the case i'm building is going to look like. (please feel free to use your imagination on the areas that look like crap)

I don't think anyone will make a waterblock for our card. It's not ref. It's got a great air cooler already.

I get 66c with a ambient of 30c
1280 core
8540mem

What are those tubes and stuff on the top going to be for? Just looks?

I've decided to try and return the 770 to amazon, I told them that I opened it but didnt use it, and didnt like it and thought it was going to be something else. I told them I would like to return it and get something more expensive, right away they offered me a shipping label and told me ill be refunded the full amount I paid.

So now its time to choose which block I want FIRST before giving myself another headache. Btw, this block is going to be for the TITAN!!! Thats what I'm getting. smile.gif

you guys kinda derailed this thread. tongue.gif matrixer you and your titan devil-smiley-019.gif (Why didn't you get the 780ti?)

Umm NZKT has the Kraken gpu mount that works for our card it looks like. 92mm over the vrms and main components isn't too bad. I asked in the announcement thread just in case. thumb.gif

The tubes are the water tubes going to the different devices, like i said it's a cruddy sketchup. As far as the titan goes, i think it's over kill and over priced. You can get the same performance outa the 780Ti, for quite a few bills cheaper.

But i guess if i had the money i'd get it as well wink.gif

lol just a little bit, i'll keep my eye out on the kraken over the next few weeks. By then if i haven't bought something else i'm going to go with the Koolance universal GPU block and my own vrm heatsinks

Hello,
I have the same problem with the version of gigabyte gtx 770 2GB.
I think soon buy this Block.

But my concern is 3 vram because they are below this block but not the cooling block.
It is necessary to place vram heatsinks, but will use the stock clock?
In the case of these three which would be below the block?
Thanks:thumb:
