On the other hand, I've heard that the Silverstone mini-itx PSUs suffer from noise issues, something I really want to avoid with this build.

If you refer back to the Node 304 Club thread, you'll see that Dyaems has a card that's significantly longer than yours and it fits without issues with a G series PSU. To be honest, I don't think you can find a graphics card that won't fit with those Seasonics.

I can't comment on the noise level of the Silverstone PSUs; I have never used one. All I have to go by is hearsay.

@shilka: Thanks for the link. I might have missed it, but I didn't see anything on the link you provided that discussed whether the Silverstone Strider 550 is loud or quiet.

@radical: I saw those posts, but I wasn't sure which version of that card he was using. Again, maybe I missed it. I wasn't sure if that was a reference 7970 version.

*edit: Just saw Dyaem's post in the owners thread. His card is 12 inches. Sounds gtg for me.

I think its only the SFX thats loud

If every SilverStone was loud they would say it

So dont think the Strider Gold is loud

Impressive build.

Please post pictures with the Impact VI + U14S when you get it, I'm worried the cooler wont fit when the Sound card is installed
Other than the sound card issue the cooler is perfect fit with the node 304

Cooler does not fit, butts up against the daughter board heat sink. Sound board clearance is fine. Going to pick up an h80i tomorrow.
