I run a pair of 660 TI's in SLI, paired with a 4770k processor

note: 3dmark notes my proc as 1.6 ghz, but it was actually 4.8 ghz at the time. Not sure why it miss reads it? Probably because of power saving mode.

OP without a doubt go for HD 7950. is the Sapphire HD 7950 for 379.33$ the dual x cooler version. if it is go for it. nice cooler.keeps temps below 70c even at 1.1 - 1.15 ghz average overclocks. here are some pics of the 11196-19-20G model with custom PCB.

there are few other dual x cooler models .11196-16-20G uses ref HD 7950 PCB and dual x cooler.

I am not looking to just compare, but compare by price/perfomance in my country, the prices here are pretty f*ed up.

There is an MSI 760 in the thread , for 670, the cheapest Gigabyte version costs 497$

But the GTX 770 has similiar performance to it. Depending on the test sometimes the 7970 wins sometimes the 770 wins...
As I said, I asked for price/perfomance and gave prices in my country [ Israel ] Because prices here are f*ing crazy..
Difference between 7950 Vapor-X and Sapphire's base 7970 is 132$.

Guys, Please reply by what I ask and read before you comment, Thanks smile.gif

BTW nobody has suggested the 7970, just the 7950 and those 3dmark links are 7950 overclocked to easily attainable speeds...

Here are my 24/7 clocks http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6870025, 10567 graphics score.

turn off all powersaving modes when benching and you should get higher scores.

that was a 7950 i linked clocked at 7970 GHz speed. nearly all 7950 can do even those that are voltage locked. but i would avoid the locked 7950.2cents.gif

does the sapphire dual x version comes with the same games as vapor-x version. if the dual x version does not have the games you have to decide if those games are worth $28. imo if both dual x and vapor-x version comes with games i would suggest dual x as its a quieter running cooler.

yep, the dual-x version also comes with those games.
btw, why is the dual-x better than the vapor-x ? I heard the vapor-x Is quieter, cooler and better for OC :S
So I see that all of you agree that the 7950 is the one I should buy, Thanks! [ Although ill buy it around October, I guess that the prices will drop by then cuz 8xxx series should come out , doesnt it?

Thanks guys smile.gif

EDIT: Ugh , yep, for what I read the Dual-X Is better, then I guess ill get it, thanks guys smile.gif
