EK nickel fittings question

Thread Starter
I'm building a wc loop that will be full EK fittings and blocks, but I have heard concerns about EK's nickel plating flaking off with certain coolants after the 2 year warranty has expired.

Can anyone confirm a flaking issue with EK-PSC Nickel compression fittings and 90/45 degreeangled adaptors, or am I safe to use these in my loop?

I used some on my sisters build and I haven't had any issues in the last few years. I personally have used Bitspower for years and may give Monsoon fittings a try soon.

I have the Black EK fittings. Older style. Only issue I have with them is that the black coating can easily be scratched off when your tightening them. Nothing a black permanent marker can fix though (haha). I've yet to have any issue's of flaking where the tubing goes though.
