Yes, I was able to buy a replacement board for $55 from an ebay seller called DreamSeller. Put the new board in my monitor and it's working perfectly now.
I emailed DreamSeller asking if they would sell me a board. It took a couple of weeks to receive it. Once it arrived, I replaced the old one with it and was up and running.
so accessories whole and dream-seller no longer sell boards for the crossover monitors.....anyone no if crossover sells them?
i have a Korean friend who is going to help me with the web page as its mostly Korean.
I had to ask a Korean friend to buy it for me. They shipped to their house in korea and I'm waiting for them to ship it to me.
It seems that dreamseller and accessories whole are no longer able to get the parts. They claimed that crossover was to blame. Also crossover themselves refuse to ship to the states.
I think there is somthing odd here. Maybe apple is making things difficult for them.
Mike
We also nee these boards. I cannot find them anywhere, nobody on Ebay is selling them.
One of my clients has a beast of a system with 4 of these 27" monitors setup in portrait side by side.
2 of the 4 monitors need replacement boards.
(Same symptoms as the original poster above).
The Ebay seller I got the monitors from said that Crossover are hard to get the boards from but they have been trying. They are charging me $60 per board and two of the boards they have sent so far (I wanted 4) are faulty (they probably sent me returned boards, even though they said that these boards were from Crossover).
Please message me - if you can help me get more of these boards elsewhere. We'll buy a few and keep them in stock for when these monitors need them, I am treating them like a consumable.
