Intel graphic overclock.

Thread Starter
Some people say it is possible, now when i access to the bios by pressing F2, UEFI bios. I go to advanced but i can't find the option to increase the MHz.
Currently it's default 650MHz, but as far as i know max i can oc is to 1500MHz (probably not recommended) according to Intel official website.
I'd like to increase it to 1300 at least, the problem like i said above is that i can't find any options in my Bios. Does it mean my Motherboard doesn't support overclocking Intel HD graphics?

-I know you going to suggest me to buy a new better GPU but at the moment I'm collecting cash to buy a better one, now not.
-I know it may not increase a lot the performance.

Is it risky to use some kind of softwares instead from BIOS? I installed Intel extreme utility but i can't understand that much..

Also I'm playing like 2007-2010 released games, not latest games.

Cpu: Intel 3220 3.30 GHz
Gpu: Intel graphics
Mobo: asustek p8h61-m lx3 plus

If it isn't really possible then i have to wait to buy a new gpu.

If you're looking to do any serious gaming, you will need a dedicated GPU. The i3-3220 is an OK processor, but the integrated Intel HD 2500 graphics is barely capable of basic business 3D graphics performance. Check this chart out - your 3220 has the same graphics as a I5-3470 in the chart.

A simple $100 video card would give you approximately 4-5x the graphics performance of the i3-3220 integrated graphics.

Well yeah it's a better solution. Maybe i'll go for cheaper one, around 140$.
