Nintendo Wii - 10/10

Hello folks! Today, Remonster and I received our brand new Nintendo Wii. I absolutely love it, 10/10. The graphics fit the games, no 8xAA but there's no need for it. I love WiiSports! I've been playing Tenis and Boxing since 8:00PM and am in love. We paid $600 for it, however, we got the Wii itself, WiiSports - included with every Wii - and Zelda. Also, we got Red Steel and Metal Slug from GameFly. We currently only have one WiiMote and Numchuck, however, we are hoping to purchase another WiiMote, plus a Classic Controller for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! My friend kept his Super Nintendo until last year just to play that game. This is coming from somebody who though the idea of montion was stupid in a controller. This beats Gears of War, Rambow Six: Vegas, and Halo: 2 anyday of the week. It's a great, small bundle that never stops giving. Since a new console with a game of your chosing is only $300 it's - also - an amazing value. Considering a Xbox 360 Premium, which comes with one controller and no games / mini-games included, has a $300 price tag. The Nintendo Wii is so great, I bought it over a PlayStation: 3... why? The PS3 is great with it's 9 Cored CPU and 12 GPUs, or whatever, but it has no good games out! Why'd I dish out $1000 for a 60GB PlayStation and 4 controllers if it's going to collect dust? I love the Wii and if anybody is considering Wii + Game(s) + Controller(s) vs. Xbox 360 + Game(s) + Controller(s) vs. PlayStation 3 + Game(s) + Controller(s) they should go for the Wii, the cheapest, simiplest, yet best option. It's inovation, it's new, it's fresh, and it's amazing. I cannot stop talking about it, Remonster just had his friends over and they were playing Red Steel, then, afterwards, I started playing WiiSports and I couldn't stop, until 3 minutes ago to make this Post.

Please excuse the poor picture quality, it's just proof, because I'm weird like that.

Great review and well stated! I plan on buying a Wii myself but not sure about the whole 360 or PS3 thing at the moment since i'm a hard-core Final Fantasy fan.

The Nintendo Wii if a phenom, too bad controllers are out of stock until Q1'07 or else I'd run out and by 2 Classic Controllers + 3 WiiMotes and have an all out Tennis Battle with my friends!

My Son waited in line outside Wal Mart for 12 hours just before Thanksgiving and got his for $250. here in Rome NY. The Wal Mart here was very cool about the whole thing, took names and made a list, even brought them coffee and snacks for free through the day because they did have to wait outside. What a great family game system though. Even my wife who has never played a video game in her life enjoyed it and kicked butt at golf. He is getting COD3 for it for Christmas and I cant wait to try that since I am a COD2 addict (almost through the game on veteran).

Nice! I just showed my mom the Wii and she was impressed. I was boxing and she saw the accure movements + creativity and was actually impressive. And it's a bargain, $250 for the Wii is all you need. It comes with WiiSports, which I think is the best game/games out so far, and one controller. I purchased it from somebody on OCN since they were sold out in San Diego, CA. I love it, I love it, I love it! Best game system since... the PS2. I think the Wii might knock the PlayStation 2 off the top, as my favorite system of all time.

Oh! Also, the accessories! The Steering Wheel is only $20 since it's a housing for your WiiMote, which is placed horizontally, with rubber grips for a good feel. Overall the quality of the WiiMote, Nunchuck, and actual system is amazing, considering it's all very cheap when up aganist it's competetors.

It's a good system, you can actually get some excersize in a good boxing match, I KO'ed my Stepson with a long series of uppercuts but he accused me of continuously nut punching him, I say they were uppercuts!

Answer one questions, were those punches on his Mii or actually on him? :dA series of punches by somebody who's older than you to the nuts must hurt, and by 'must hurt' I mean I'd be on the floor if that happened.
