It's not a BIOS setting - it's an instruction set and you'll need Win 7 SP1 or Win 8 to use it.

Oh, ok... I've just updated to SP1 and I'm still getting the same scores - is there a way to check if it's enabled from the command prompt?

edit: nevermind, the update didn't work properly. Rectifying that now.

Alright, I've got AVX enabled now, this is much more what I was expecting in the way of temps with a 1.37V haswell:

It's funny as my 4770k clocks the same as yours including voltages. The extra power is nice but boy does it get hot !! devil.gif
