Should I get the linked one above? Is there any reason on why this one costs more than most of the others that are the same model type?

Cost more compared to what? Most 7870s are in the 200+ range.

Because I read having a 2.0 slot doesn't really make a difference with today's 3.0 requirements.

definitely get a HD 7870 over a GTX 660. make sure your case can fit the HIS card as its almost 12 inches long (30 cm). good cooler. keeps temps below 70c even when overclocked.

when overclocked to 1.2 Ghz HD 7870 beats stock GTX 660 Ti.

The original price is 310 http://www.amazon.com/HIS-Mini-DiplayPort-Express-Graphics-H787Q2G2M/dp/B007HYIRES/
And I'm not sure if it would exactly fit, I have a 260 gtx, and it hardly has enough room. Any idea if this would be a good buy?

What I like about this gtx, is it has 2 dvi slots.

Oh, the original price is just Amazon trying to make their savings look more impressive...marketing.

660 is an alright card but the 7870 does beat it.

Was like 220 with shipping, I also got a hdmi converter with it so I can use more than one monitor when I edit.
