A quick question on mousepad tracking

Thread Starter
So, I just received a DKT pad (the one made by gamerzstuff), and though the seller claimed it was brand new, it turns out that it wasn't new at all, there was a good amount of dirt and stuff on it. So I very gently cleaned it, and of course, as usual, it lost some of its slickness afterwards. Which really frustrates me because It should have been new in the first place (97% pos feedback, shyeah, right). Anyways, after cleaning, I found three parts of the pad where the mousepad appears to be damaged, like as if there's something wrong underneath the top material (is it fabric? I don't know). It seems to be some sort of a green tint in those areas. There's also one point on the pad where the fabric's been taken off or something, and it appears as a little white dot. My question is, Is that going to affect the tracking of the pad? It seems to track fine, I have no problem aiming/preaiming, even making micro adjustments to my aim. Other than adjusting to the new smoothness of it, my game is fine.I play games rather seriously, particularly FPS games. I should've probably went with the talent. But how was I supposed to know the things were really USED?

PS My mouse is an optical, a G400 2nd Rev.

I don't think it'll be a big deal.

Doesn't seem to be effecting your performance too much

Yeah, I guess you're right. I still can't believe that it showed up like that, though.who-let-rip-smiley.png
