HL2 Loading Screens

Thread Starter
I have a SSD but the loading screens on HL2 are like 30-45 seconds each. This is like having a HDD all over again. Anyone know why this is happening?

Can you run AS SSD and post your scores?

Checked Kingston's website and it said there aren't any new firmware updates, so we can rule out updating.

The loads shouldn't even take that long.. even with a proper platter disk. Are there any drivers you needed to install?

Nope. BF3 runs smooth as butter and I am always the first one loaded into the new map.
