So far the only option, if you prefer OS close to stock Google and a true mini format (unlike HTC One mini, which is still too large). Interesting how there are so many smartphones, but so little that really fits your needs/demands/preferences. Motorola comes off as a blessing at this point.

So I guess you have the locked version? Because I didn't see news about an unlocked version yet.

Locked vs. unlocked phones only apply to GSM phones I thought as they can be used on any carrier if they are unlocked. However the Droid's are exclusive to Verizon meaning they use CDMA and can't be used on any other providers networked regardless.

I am interested in this phone. Any updates ? I'm considering this or the x. I really want wireless charging because I've had issues with the charge port on the RAZR maxx
Where is the charge port located physically on this phone ?

I've had the phone for just over a week now and I absolutely love it. It is so much faster and more responsive than my Razr it's not even funny. I really love the active display and the battery life is phenomenal (I got 40hours on the first charge with 20% battery life remaining before I charged it again). I almost always go 24 hours without charging it and then I'll top it off starting at 30-40% renaming.

The charge port is located on the bottom of the phone directly in the middle (which I prefer over the top of the phone which is where it was on my Razr). I've yet to test the wireless charging because I'm still on the prowl for a quality yet inexpensive charging pad.

All in all I'm very very happy I went with this phone. It's not even much bigger physically than my Razr was.
