Changing my Gtx 680

Thread Starter
I might change my card to a newer one, because my actual one does good in most games but it starts to have some fps issues with my new res of 2560x1440 and also it started to get temps of 75 degree (somehow, it used to stay at 65).
I was going to pick the GTX 780 classified or maybe wait for the 9000 series of Radeon

I say just get a 2nd 680 and SLI them. The 780 will make around 25% more performance than 680, I dont't think that'll be enough to run games at a solid 60 in 2560x1440. SLI 680's will be much more powerful than a single 780. You can upgrade to the maxwell chip in the future granted they will be a bigger performance leap. Just my 2 cents.

Hope this helps. Cheers.
