yes, i have used it to manually change the screen resolution in need for speed underground 2 to 1080p. it works great however the textures in older games were not designed for high resolution displays.

Yep, the textures were not good. I tried it on NFS Carbon. I think its better for the standard resolution if this are older games.

the only reason why i used universal widescreen patcher is because the aspect ratio in need for speed underground 2 wasn't widescreen and i had huge borders on the edges of my screen. patcher fixed this.
