I tried to find out if the vf900 will go with the 7600gt but I can't see it in the specification area, it only says 7800 7900 series

The VF900 fits on just about any graphics card available today. I have a friend with a 7600GT and he had no problems putting the VF900 on.

I put a vf900 on my 7600GT, but its a funny eVga version which actually used to be a GTS until they gave it ddr3 memory and a GT core (which is impossible to find a vMod guide for btw). It fits, but the nipples do not press the rubber rings down to the pcb. The fan is quite a bit louder than I expected, even though it keeps my temps very low, and I think this may be the source of some of the unwanted noise. I guess my card has a gpu that is raised further above the pcb so it is too tall or something. Does anyone have any other ideas about this?

Anyway, if you happen to have this card I would suggest you buy the vf700.

i just tightened my cooler snuggly . my rubber rings are the same as yours . i didnt over tighten for fear of breaking the card . it works fine , just the way it is .
if i were you , i wouldnt worry about those RUBBER rings . i doubt id they are making any noise . RUBBER done vibrate that easy .
good luck .
cheers .

The VF900 should come with a ZALMAN FAN MATE 2 Fan Controller.
