Need Help With Confusing Storage Setup

Thread Starter
I am going to start off by describing what I want as my end goal.

In my new desktop, I am planning on having:
500GB SSD for my OS and Programs
120GB SSD for "Working Files"
4TB SSD for Long Term Storage

Externally I have:
A 2TB HDD
A 4-Bay NAS

What I want is the 2TB HDD to act as a time capsule for the 120GB SSD working files, meaning it backs them up every 30 minutes or so. I have been using Genine 9 and love it. SO I plan on keeping that.

I want to use 1-Bay of my NAS to create a 1:1 copy of both my HDD and 120GB working Files. The Idea is that while im remotely on my Laptop I can access the files on the NAS as if it was running independently of the new Desktop, but also if one fails drive fails, such as the NAS, the HDD on the desktop would still have all the information and nothing would be lost. If the Drives that I want to be 1:1 were both in the NAS or desktop, a simple RAID setup would work, but I want each in the places I described. Also Im sure I would find software to clone the desktop HDD to the NAS HDD, and then access the NAS HDD remotely. My issue is i want to remotly alter the NAS HDD (Again, easy) and have the changes reflected on the desktop HDD.

I hope I described this well! Any input would be appreciated!

There is no such thing as a 4TB SSD, at least not now.
