Happy to have helped. You could always sell them and go 780's....

I don't think 780 in sli will give me the performance I need

Two 780s in SLI would give you more than enough performance for your needs. In fact, its mildly quite overkill for your resolution.

And you won't ever be limited by VRAM for the forseeable future. And you won't have to deal with quad SLI scaling, which I'll admit isn't the most polished thing in the world.

It's overkill... Everything is 100+ fps

Sir, I believe you are mistaken, My resolution is 5760 x 1080 how is it possible 2 GTX 780's be overkill for my resolution?

can u post a pic of nvcp with the green bar across the two cards? it should say , quad sli. if not, then u have an sli issue to correct. use a single screen for this. once this issue is eliminated as a possibility, we can move on to surround set up. also, post a pic of precision x with your clocks 135% power target, gpu/mem, if you have these over clocked.

I would go with 2 or 3 780's. They will scale much better and probably give you better performance plus more vram.

This review shows at medium settings, the gtx 690 quad sli does alright, but once you turn up the settings the quad sli gtx 690 falls behind or ties even dual cards.

http://us.hardware.info/reviews/4031/13/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-3-way4-way-sli-review-incl-5760x1080-and-frametimes-crysis-3---5760x1080-+-frametimes

This is a titan review, but a small OC on gtx 780's will get you the same or better performance they got in this review. Seems like Quad sli is roughly equal to dual gtx 780's/titans and will lose to three.

Honestly quad sli has terrible scaling. Notice how almost every day 1 titan review was 3-way or less. I'm sure Nvidia hand their hand in that since 4-way scaling is probably horrific.
