You meant laptop ones. I was thinking you were referring to desktop ones. My G3258 has VT-d and I think Haswell processors do too.

That CPU is a Haswell, and Intel says you do not have VT-d:

http://ark.intel.com/products/82723/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G3258-3M-Cache-3_20-GHz

I'm not trying to be a jerk, just spreading some information. My Haswell G1850 Celeron is in the same boat. The good news is that newer generations appear to have it across the board. Even the Apollo Lake (Think Atom) Celerons have it now:

http://ark.intel.com/products/95596/Intel-Celeron-Processor-N3450-2M-Cache-up-to-2_2-GHz

Not that I would bother with GPU passthrough on a 6w TDP processor for gaming, just pointing out that VT-d has worked its way down.

Thanks for pointing this out, I confused VT-d with VT-x. They both look so similar.

My rig is still down after the install to redo my water loop. I should get it up and running again this week. I'll be sure to chime in again once I can put it through the paces properly. smile.gif But I am on the most recent Kernel so that should help.

Definitley, let me know! I gave up hope of using Manjaro as my primary until they fix the IOMMU grouping for PCI passthrough thumb.gif

That's understandable. I begrudgingly still dual boot for the few games I want, and as I wait for the AMD mesa drivers to continue to mature. Don't get me wrong, they're pretty great! But I'm still probably 2 kernel versions away from freesync on Linux. I can wait, though. just comes with the territory. biggrin.gif
