Need help with dual band Routers

Thread Starter
I will be buying a new router soon, mine has some rough signal in parts of the house. I have the Intel Centrino advance 6235 card in both of my laptops, which is a 2x2 dual band card. (I don't know what that means though). I was looking at the Asus RT-N66U and was wondering if this will work with my laptops. It says that it is a 3x3 router which I have no idea what that means either. Please help! The reason I have looked towards this one is the great reviews, and it seems to give people great coverage. I don't need anything radically different then what I have, I just get slow speeds in a couple rooms; no dropped signals though. Thanks in advance!

Any router will work with any wifi card, the difference will be speed, connection quality, and signal.
2x2 can connect to 3x3 routers no problem. It just means it has a extra antenna and thus can have more output. Basically..
