Ok so here are some tests with some Red Dye

The frosted gives a much more flat/matte colour which I think looks quite good. What do you guys think?
I still like the really vivid colours the clear tubing gives.

My first post ever on this forum. Been lurking a long ting but this is worth it :-)

Frosted all the way. Be unique!

Coolant...undecided at the moment, I have 3 bottles of EK clear ready to go. Ive ordered violet MDPC as my secondary colour so may look at perhaps Purple Mayhems dye or Raspberry Purple Pastel. However I think the dye will be a closer match.

hmm I saw that you ordered some purple sleeving and truth is a big thing about this build for me is if I did another build it would be using the same mobo, ram, and I would want to use pastel purple lol so this is perfect for me tongue.gif That said I dont know if I like the purple of the pastel. Look below for continued of this

I actually like the frosted it is very unique and different. Now finishing off what I said uptop now if you use some purple mayhem's dye and you get the color perfect this frosted tubing basically turns it into a pastel.

cheers.gif

Great avatar btw, Golfergolfer. Cracks me up every time I see it. biggrin.gif Showed it to my friends (added a subtitle "Cool story Bro, tell it again"), and they were just like, "meh...wth is wrong with you, guy?". They just don't understand how funny it is! sad-smiley-002.gif

biggrin.gif I love it soo much too lol. After reading your subtitle for it, it actually makes so much sense I get it biggrin.gif

EDIT: This is Mayhem's new? Pastel Purple (New pictures at least lol)

And I hope snef doesnt mind me posting a link here but Mayhem's Pastel Purple apparently matches which ever type of sleeve was used as well.

I definitely like the frosted one more, but I would like to see it "in action", with the fluid moving inside to decide personally.
Guess the latter will be hard for you to illustrate - unless you want to youtube the log too (hint-hint) - but I would surely try in myself if II was you. thumb.gif

Are the tubing acrylic or flexible ? I cant really tell from the cellphone !. My opinion is clear acrylic tubing with mayhem AURORA coolant ( I like the silver inside).

Love your build for more !

Cheers

It's acrylic tubes. Won't be using aurora doesn't have a long enough life span. I'll likely grab both pastel and dye and do some more tests
