Thanks for the gpu advice. I overclocked the gpu last night and was able to get some pretty good results for a HD 4870. I played around and was able to hold 4.2Ghz @ 1.235 vcore, but I could keep the temps down below 85C. I will probably start adjusting other things to get the temps down. BTW the auto-oc profiles on gigabyte motherboards will destroy cpus lol. I can get to 4.4 with 1.3V vcore most likely but I dont know if I can get the heat down, until I install a water loop.

right on! yep haswells runs very hot I had to delid mine to get 4.6 otherwise it would burn to the ground lol:D
