New case - thinking of switching to a Gigabyte G1 series mobo.

So here's the deal.
I've recently ordered a LD V8 (green/black) case, and I've been thinking about getting a matching motherboard for the case.
I am currently using a ASUS sabertooth x79 - with W7 oem - thinking of selling mobo & w7 as a package.

I've been looking into Gigabyte G1.Assasin2 since my current cpu is 3930k and I'd be able to use it with Gigabyte G1.Assassin2.
I was wondering what people think of this motherboard? If it's a decent motherboard for the 3930k and worth looking into?

I think any board with what looks like a 30-rd AK clip pistol for a sink should be avoided at all costs.
Although I do believe it supports 2 x16 lanes.

Not a massive fan of the pistol, I actually dislike it.
But I really like the colour scheme on the board, that's why I'm considering it.
Think it would go well with the colour of the case.

Should consider changing the cpu aswell and go for the Gigabyte G1 sniper 5?

I've been looking into the G1 sniper 5 and it seems like no one has anything but positive things to say about it.
