Water cooling for 900D

Hello all, I am not new to this forum but I am a newly registered user. I am posting this topic to ask the experts of this site for some valuable information. I currently have a Corsair 650D with some decent hardware inside.

Current build consists of:
- i7 3930K (4.6ghz OC)
- Corsair H100i cooler
- G.Skill 16gb DDR3 1866mhz (8-9-9)
- ASUS P9X79 WS
- PC Power & Cooling 1200w
- 3x GTX 480 reference cards in Tri Sli
- Intel 520 SSD (256gb) + 2x WD Caviar Black 500gb

I am planning on picking up a 900D later this week or early next week and upgrading to a custom loop sometime short after that. I was wondering what you guys though on what I should do. My original plan was to have 2 loops, one for CPU and one for the GPU's. Do you think it's worth cooling the chipset as well? Might as well if I'm going all out.

I want to completely max out the 900D. I am only using 3 drives so that means that I can remove all the drive cages to make room for more radiators. It would be really helpful if someone could tell me what the max amount of radiators I could fit in this case with my hardware would be and which radiators/pump/resevoir/fans they recommend.

I'm not a noob at PC building but I have never dabbled into W/C and I want to do it right. Thank you for reading and any information you have to provide smile.gif

One loop with CPU GPU and motherboard is fine. The 900D can take the follow radiators setups:
Top: 480 60mm push pull (80mm push)
Front 240 30mm push
Bottom 480 60mm push
Bottom 240 60mm push

You can move all the drive cages from the bottom to the middle and still install all of the listed radiators. Take a look at my sig rig for inspiration. I've got said radiators in my setup.

Do you think it is worth it to get a thinner radiator and push/pull the fans on the top or go for a thicker radiator and only push?
