Uber 655 = swiftech but in a combo?

Can anyone confirm the 2 pumps and 2 tops in my list are the same as the uber 655?

It would be super helpful (and perhaps save me money) ! smile.gif ps; do you advise against buying it as a combo?

There is not two pump tops in that list. There is two mod kits which are extras for the bitspower pump tops

The water pump in the "Uber" pump is the D5 basic ... it is a fixed speed version of the D5 ... combined with a Koolance pump top.
The pumps in your list is the better, D5 Vario, Variable speed pump.

This is the bitspower pump top and pump body cover

It does much the same job as the Koolance version ... ie a replacement pump top and cover for the pump body but much cheaper.

Bummer, I thought the mod kit was for any 655 (D5) pumps. Soo, you're saying I should either get bitspower pumps or change mod kits that suits the swiftech pump (seeing the combo is kind of irrelevant to what I have in my list so far)?
No No, Bitspower do not make or sell pumps.

The mod kit will fit any D5, it just seemed when you said pump tops that you had mistaken the mod kit for the pump top.

Edit; to be accurate, the BP mod kit will fit any D5 ... that is fitted into either the standard Laing pump top or the BP pump top.

I dont fully understand what your asking exactly here, but the pump/mod combo in your list is basicaly the uber combo with a swiftech vario pump.

If you want to find the combo pre-built it is here

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24737

If you want the Variable speed PWM version you have add it to the order at the botom for an extra $43 which in turn pretty much adds up to the same as if you were going to do it yourself.

My question was if the pump itself is swiftech in the uber combo regardless of what the title said and if the modkit were they same. Basically, same products, same brand but for a lower price as a combo - which is not the case as I found out. My question was answered and that is all for now thank youu biggrin.gif
