Issues with overclocking MSI GTX660TI PE/OC

Thread Starter
Hi,

I've recently switched from the red camp to the green camp after having several cards.

Now I got a new PSU a few days ago and I finally decided to go and overclock my graphics card.
I started out by slowly walking up the core clock with increments of 10mhz until my graphics driver crashed using heaven bench.
I ran each test for roughly 5 minutes to make sure there was no problems.
I then started to up the voltage to the core slightly, however after maxing out the voltage core slider in MSI Afterburner the card was still giving me display driver crashes at an increment of just 70mhz on the clock.
I've done some overclocking before and got a bit worried I might have a bad card.
However when I ditched the core overclock and went to overclock the memory it went well beyond 450mhz without a single crash or voltage bump.

Is this an issue relating my incompetence, or merely me having a bad card?

Thanks.

Use Afterburner version 2.2.3. Voltage adjustments does not work with newer versions.
