Urgent help needed with Asus Rampage IV Extreme mobo

Thread Starter
So i bought a rampage board today and while closely inspecting it, i see a twisted contact on the CPU socket, can anyone tell me if this is normal or a factory defect? I'm too afraid to test the board with a cpu so i'm considering just returning it before i end up with a busted board + cpu. In the picture below is the bent item. Please help and if anyone else has had this problem let me know if it affects the board. P.S. The pins aren't touching each other and it's soldered on so it can't be shifted. Thanks for the help guys.

Looks like a defect, I'd return it:
