HDD placement okay?

So I have this 4U server that I'm running as of now. it's not running at 100% so just consider that to my question. The HDD (Which is a WD Black 750GB WD7500AAKS) is placed in this corner of the case with really no ventilation (Pic 1) from the outside all it has is the metal caddy that I installed it on (Which I guess acts like a heat sink). On idle it runs about 40-42C. Was thinking if it's two high that I'd use a old 80GB Laptop PATA HDD and just lay it on the case inside by this fan (Pic 2). So any one want to chime in and help me? PS: I'm using SpeedFan to monitor the temps.

WD blacks are 7200RPM drives. you really should have "some" airflow on it to keep it reliable.

Yea. I guess. Well after work I decided to go ahead and try to put the hard drive in the 3 5.25 inch bays. The case came with a caddy that stored 3 HDD's but I couldn't find were it actually went in the case itself. So I just opted to just put the drive in the middle and slide it in the 5.25 bays then I put a 140mm NZXT fan that I never really use. One of the fins broke off but I put some super glue on the blade reattaching it. I'll prolly just leave it at a low RPM as it makes some noise. but should give it airflow to push the hot air to the back of the case were the PSU has a 120mm fan to expel the air as well as some more fans.
