Tomb Raider settings problems

Picked up tomb raider during the recent steam sales, but its not letting me choose any settings higher than normal. No tessellation or tressfx options either. I'm running a GTX 680 on Win 8.1 preview, and tried both the 326.19 and 326.41 drivers with same results. I've tried verifying game files and even reinstalled with no success. Kind of annoying that I'm limited to normal settings. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

IIRC there is a master settings drop down in one menu and the detailed settings in another. Perhaps you have the master drop down on something other than 'custom'?

It's on custom. Its a strange problem. Not sure if its an issue with the windows 8.1 beta drivers or not. Its the only problem I've seen of any of my games. Wonder if anyone else running win8.1 with NVIDIA hardware could chime in.
