120hz monitor use polarized glasses for 3d?

I have the Acer GD235 - the one designed for the nvidia shutter glasses. My question is, can I use the passive polarized glasses with this monitor? I'd like to use the monitor with the ps3.

If you set the 3D mode to the passive blue/red mode then yes.

Passive 3D using anaglyph (alternate lense colours) will work but you can't use polarizing glasses.

Only passive 3D & active 3D monitors with built in IR emitters will work with consoles. The GD235HZ's 3D will only work with a PC
