What fps should I be getting in Skyrim?

Thread Starter
My rig : Gigabyte GTX 770 2gb, Z87X-OC, i5 4670k (@3.4ghz),1600mhz DDR 3 Vengeance 8gb, Samsung 840 120gb SSD, WD Black Caviar HDD 1TB, Corsair TX 750w

Currently with everything maxed out on nvidia control panel with override antialiasing, 16x (Antisotropic filtering) and 8x Super Sampling for (antialiasing transparency) aswell as 32xCSAA AntiAliasing, I get only 40-50fps

With application controlled setting for antialiasing and 4x Supersampling for antialiasing transparency with ingame settings 8x AA + 16x Antisotropic filtering, I get 50-60 fps.\

Is it my cpu? MSI Afterburner shows 99% gpu usage at peak and windows (ctrl+alt+del) performance monitor showed 60-70% cpu usage only

I find it hard to believe that this gpu would struggle, seeing as many reviews have skyrim benchmarked at 90fps avg and 75 or so fps minimum

Im using 1080p and 60hz[/B]

Turn off ALL the forced Nvidia setiings and what do you get?

Any Mods?(If eleventy, please /thread and go to Nexus)

IIRC, before I got my second card I would peg the v-sync limit with a single 670 and oc'd 3770k, even with texture mods.

Edit: Just saw your other thread. Definitely turn off(or 3d App Controlled) all the Nvidia settings. The 80 Fps youare seeing on the reviews is vanilla game with settings controlled by the game launcher.
