How do you use a digital multimeter?

Thread Starter
I have bought a dmm, specifically this one - http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=543386

I have bought it to measure my gtx 680s vcore. How do I use this dmm?

I have zero knowledge on this, so an idiots guide would be perfect. I.e I'm guessing I need the PC to be on?

Thanks!

How to use Digital Multimeter ? – Noobs Guide

and RTM.

edit: what 680 do you have? because there ought to be labels on the v-check points and extensions that you plug the meter into. and yes it is safe/nessesary to have the system on and running ATT.
