NFS Carbon FPS - Page 2

I get around 33 to 60 fps in Carbon. Usually more around 45fps. Even during Race Wars where there is 10+ cars on the screen. I think you need more ram

I did take off Motion Blur and it really made the game better. I actually got to drive rather than worry about how well something looked, and with that motion blur crap it really hampers down your fps and driving ability because you can't see what's going on around you that well.

It's super realistic and it looks pretty good and gets great frames (1600x1200 72hz @ 72FPS _vsync on).

I was thinking about getting the Logitech G25 steering wheel for it but I don't have $300 laying around, especially not around Christmas time.
It does look off the hook. 72FPS?!

Yah, I was looking at that G25 wheel also. But $300 . I dunno.

I get good FPS, but the problem I have is it crashes ALL THE TIME!

Guess I'm not alone either....lots of people are saying the same thing.

It is fun to take over territory though...

If I turn down the car reflection update from high to medium, I get a HUGE FPS improvement. I can turn all other eye-candy on and still get great FPS.

I run NFS Carbon at 1024x768 and it goes a steady 30-40fps. Thats on a Pentium D 3GB RAM Geforce 7600GS
